About the Artist

Amber Maya grew up on California’s West Coast, shaped by punk energy, mythic stories, and a fearless creative spirit. Her journey has been anything but ordinary; bartender, singer, painter, and jeweler, all fueling her distinctive vision.

In 2011, she moved to Cape Town and studied Jewelry Design and Manufacturing at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, earning her Bachelor of Technology with highest honors. Today, back in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, Amber creates jewelry that fuses nature with industrial edge, crafting bold, wearable art meant to express, provoke, and endure.
